FREE DOWNLOAD GAME PC : Rogue Trooper

On the surface of the war-torn Nu Earth there are tales of a mysterious and deadly lone warrior. A man who knows no allegiance but to his own mission of revenge against a treacherous enemy...he is the ultimate soldier, the last survivor of massacred genetic infantrymen...The Rogue Trooper.

The story in the game of Rogue Trooper sticks close to the comic. You play the game as Rogue, a genetic infantryman, or GI. Rogue is a special kind of soldier cloned and bred to survive the harsh conditions on the planet of Nu Earth, where two powerful factions are locked in conflict. It seems that all of the chemical weapons used in the war have taken their toll on the planet, turning it into a barren, toxic, uninhabitable wasteland. Regular soldiers have to use respirators and wear special suits just to stay alive, but Rogue and his fellow blue-skinned infantrymen are immune to the toxins, making them perfect ground troops. Rogue works for the Southers, the more affable of the two factions. His mission is to eliminate the Norts, who are the oppressive and underhanded enemy of the Southers. Although Rogue technically works for the Southers, his allegiance is to himself and his three closest squadmates.

The game starts out by dropping Rogue and his fellow soldiers right into the heart of the war zone. As they go about killing the Norts and advancing their position, Rogue's squadmates get wasted one by one. The instant before death, each soldier's personality is encoded to a biochip that Rogue collects and installs into various slots on his equipment. Gunner is a weapons expert, so his chip goes in Rogue's gun and helps him out with new firing and targeting functions, and it can also be deployed as a sentry gun. Bagman is in charge of supplies, so his chip goes in Rogue's backpack. By collecting salvage from fallen enemies, allies, and machines on the battlefield, you can order Bagman to manufacture ammo, health packs, and weapon upgrades. Helm is a technology expert, and his chip gets installed into Rogue's helmet. Helm can hack computer systems, unlock doors, and power your radar system so you can see where your enemies are. Helm can also project a holographic image of you anywhere on the battlefield as a decoy to draw enemy fire.

The net effect of the four-characters-in-one design is a wide variety of options for dealing with the challenges you face on the battlefield. In any given battle you'll be sniping enemies, planting explosives, tossing grenades, using mounted weapons, setting mines…and purchasing ammo. That's right, you have to purchase all of your ammo through an inventory screen. It might not sound like a big deal, but when you're in the middle of an intense firefight trying to deal with snipers, dropships, bombers, ground troops, turrets, and mechs all at the same time, the last thing you want to do is pause the game and manage your inventory. It's nice to have the option to equip yourself on the fly as you see fit, but it's also a quick way to completely remove the fun and intensity of a great battle. Even if you try to strategically manage your supplies between battles, you can't carry much, so you'll invariably end up running out of ammo during the frequent and extended combat sequences in the game.

When you aren't managing your supplies, you're involved in the battles, which do a great job of blending tactical action with intense run-and-gun shooting. Most missions start you off at one point and just require you to fight your way through a linear environment, completing one objective after another. Since there's a whole army of Norts who want your head, you encounter opposition at each and every turn. Sometimes you'll be fighting dozens of enemies, and other times you'll be stealthily creeping through corridors to sneak up and stab your enemies in the neck. For the most part, though, the battles are all-out firefights, which have you running around or diving from cover to cover and occasionally popping out to pick off enemies. You can crouch behind any wall and toss grenades or just fire blindly to force your enemies to take cover.

FREE DOWNLOAD GAME : Three Kingdoms-Fate of the Dragon

Three Kingdoms: Fate of the Dragon is a real-time strategy game based on the 14th century historical Chinese novel entitled Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Known to be one of the most famous and turbulent periods in Chinese history, the story has been passed down the generations throughout Asia through books, plays, puppetry, and storytellers. Now, in the Chinese Year of the Dragon, Eidos Interactive brings The Three Kingdoms to a worldwide audience with the release of Three Kingdoms: Fate of the Dragon on the PC.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, government officials were fighting for power while ordinary people were starving to death. In 184 AD, large groups of farmers rose in rebellion against the state. The empire of the Eastern Han Dynasty suppressed this rebellion, but in doing so, the empire itself, which had been in decline for many years, collapsed. In the confusion following this collapse, rival warlords took control of their respective territories and set up their own kingdoms, splitting China into three parts.

As one of these three warlords, build your own regime, develop new technologies, and create a mighty army in an attempt to control The Three Kingdoms and reunify China.

FREE PC GAME : Enemy Engaged 2 RELOADED

Seven years is a long time. The latest game to remind us of this unfortunate fact is Enemy Engaged 2, a disappointing sequel to GameSpot's simulation of the year back in 2000, Enemy Engaged: RAH-66 Comanche Versus Ka-52 Hokum. Actually, it's a stretch to even call this a true sequel because this supposedly "new" game is actually just a revamped version of the original with slightly upgraded graphics and some new bugs. There is still an outstanding simulation of helicopter gunship combat buried in here, although it's basically a seven-year-old one with equal parts good and bad new additions.

It's hard to escape the feeling that this game was developed on the cheap to take advantage of the hardcore Comanche Versus Hokum fan base. Developer Gameyus Interactive has done little to establish this as an independent game, going so far as to reprint the original manual here as part of the on-disc PDF documentation. Aside from the title page, this seems to be a verbatim copy of the seven-year-old manual, right down to calling the game Comanche Versus Hokum all the way through even though the subtitle was dropped from the name of this follow-up. You would think that someone would have spent a few minutes to do a cut-and-paste job that would at least fool buyers into thinking they were getting a brand-new game.

It also would have been nice if someone would have tossed in a proper tutorial, either in the manual or (more preferably) in the game itself. While piloting a chopper into combat isn't as insanely hard as it would seem, a sim like this is in desperate need of an interactive mission that guides you through all of the ins and outs. The manual actually does a reasonably good job of detailing the steps needed to take off, hover, and run your helicopter through basic flight maneuvers, but it does little to prepare you for combat. You should expect to meet terra firma often during your first few hours with the game.

Still, because the original game was such a great blend of a hardcore flight sim and accessible action, it's not as if Enemy Engaged 2 is terrible. The three dynamic campaigns remain intense and involving. There is a serious been-there, done-that vibe going on because only the Korean campaign is actually new. But even though the Lebanese and Chinese campaigns seem like straight rehashes from the earlier game, they reward replays because of the dynamic structure that hits you with all sorts of realistic mission offers. These include reconnaissance flights, escorts, probing raids into unknown enemy-held territory, direct attacks on missile sites, and so forth.

The best part of this structure is the fluidity of the battlefields. You might be heading off on a run-of-the-mill escort and spot a couple of SAM batteries ripe for the plucking. Or you might be on a routine patrol and catch sight of an enemy destroyer that looks vulnerable. Best of all, if you go off the reservation to blow up a key enemy target, such as a base or a capital ship, the game recognizes this achievement and structures follow-up missions around it. Constant radio messages also relay that you're involved in a wide-ranging war because you can't complete a mission without hearing chatter about tanks being destroyed elsewhere or enemy armor columns being discovered on recon missions to other sections of the front. At any rate, because of the atmosphere of never knowing what you're going to encounter after you kick off the wheel brakes, it's easy to get addicted and rip through one mission after another for hours.

Unfortunately, there are some unpleasant surprises here as well. Much of the battlefield terrain is buggy. Objects flash in and out; landscape features, such as rivers and forests, seem to just pop into sight; and choppy frame rates plague you at inopportune times. And on top of those issues, crashes are a fairly common occurrence when loading missions. Audio quality is great, particularly the radio chatter, but it sure seems to be the same sound files that were used in the original game. Artificial intelligence is also a bit wonky. Enemy aircraft make some odd maneuvers, while allied and enemy troops, as well as armor columns, have trouble navigating roads. The menu and configuration systems really need some work because they're confusing and clunky. It shouldn't be this hard to set up a joystick or pick a mission during the campaign. The multiplayer mode supports only direct IP connections.

If you're happy with the original Enemy Engaged, stick with it. It's cheap, authentic, and can be modified into modernity with the loads of fan-made free content available online. But if you've never played the original game in the series, this might not be a bad starting point.

FREE PC GAME : The Elder Scrolls Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, or simply Oblivion, is a single player fantasy-themed action-oriented computer role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks/ZeniMax Media and the Take-Two Interactive subsidiary 2K Games. It is the fourth installment in The Elder Scrolls video game series. It was released on March 21, 2006 for Windows PCs and the Xbox 360. A PlayStation 3 release was shipped on March 20, 2007 in North America, and April 27, 2007 in Europe. One expansion pack, Shivering Isles, and a number of minor content releases followed.
The game was well-received by critics, winning numerous awards and scoring an average of 94% in Metacritic's aggregate. Oblivion sold 1.7 million copies by April 10, 2006, and over 3 million copies by January 18, 2007. A package including both Shivering Isles and the official plug-in Knights of the Nine, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition, was released in Fall 2007 for Windows PCs, the Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3.

Oblivion's story focuses on a former prisoner drawn into a Daedric Lord's plan to invade the mortal realm of Tamriel. Gates to the hellish realm of Oblivion are opened, through which many daedra flow. The game continues the open-ended tradition of previous Elder Scrolls games, allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, including the option to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely. Developers opted for a tighter pacing and greater focus than past titles, a design choice that was well-received in the gaming press.
